Gordon Murray is an automotive genius. He created the car many would consider to be the zenith in performance road cars – the McLaren F1. And now he’s turned his hand to what many consider the antithesis of the F1 – the Gordon Murray T.27 City Car.
THE LEAST WELL-OFF families are slipping further into "transport poverty", according to an RAC Foundation survey. The poorest car-owning households spent at least 31% of their disposable incomes on buying and running a vehicle in 2012, the foundation said, up from 27% the year before. The figures, based on data obtained from the Office for National Statistics, showed that in 2012 the poorest families had a maximum weekly expenditure of £167, of which £51.40 went on a car.
A quick-handed photographer over at GTSpirit.com was able to grab the first image of the new 2013 Ferrari F620 GT. The car will be shown on March 6 at the Geneva motor show in Switzerland. Specs from eGarage.com cite the 6.3-liter V12 at 740 hp and 690 lb-ft of torque, with an 8,700-rpm redline.
